Big Announcement!!!

Starting this February, I will be teaching hula classes! Yay!

I've missed dancing consistently since I moved from Hawaii, which has now been 10 years...eek. And now that I have girls who are the same age I was when I started, I want to teach them. I'm working on a new blog with information so go to Hula-La to get the down low.

Why now? My girls have been in activities, pre-school, gymnastics and other kiddie things, so I know they can handle it, as well as other kids their same age. The question is "Why not now?"

Why me rather than take them to a halau? I don't really like any of the other "work" out there. I know this sounds selfish, but I know I have enough experience and teaching ability to teach hula. Plus, I'm not trying to make a halau. I'm doing this sort of as a recreation option. Nothing serious, just for learning. :)

Who is invited? Right now, I'm starting off small. Just doing ages 4-5. Depending on the feedback I get, I will open up more classes. I am, however, offering a "Mommy-and-Me" option, where mothers can jump in the class as well. I think this is a great way for both to learn.

What's coming in the future? My mom, sister, and I have been waiting for a chance to start up our new Hula-La business. Once I get these classes started and rolling, I will be doing that...so stay tuned!

I'm excited for this new adventure, and I hope you'll join us! Please spread the word:), especially if you're in Vegas!
